Gundam Seravee Secret?

January 3, 2009 |  by Jacques  |  Misc

Is this the true form of the Giant Gundam head that is on Gundam Seravee’s back? If so, then what many people has speculated previously has now become true. The source of the photo has yet to be determined, so it remains to be seen if this is a fact or fiction.

Gundam Seravee Secret

In this case, this is most likely a custom job by a hobbyist. I remembered seeing something similarly somewhere in the net not so long ago, but as usual I just cannot remember where :s

And lastly a small reminder to all, there is no new episode this week until 11th January.

  • @GNdynames, @Aeon, @behemothzero,

    that's what I believe too, it's deliberately slowed down just to show how the sequence went about.
  • behemothzero
    I agree with Aeon. I think it's just for dramatic effect. Seraphim detaches, then the legs and arms can defold at the same time, then the head pops out right before the shoulders pop into place - three (and-a-half) steps, all done in Trans-Am.

    I'm still waiting for Seravee to purge its armor XD
  • Aeon
    It could be they made it look really long just to show it off the first time.
  • It's cool and all but I don't see it being practical. The transformation takes forever and anyone mobile could shoot it down.
  • Aeon
    correct me if I'm wrong, but I think devil's legs became the giant head.
  • behemothzero
    XD Yeah I wouldn't have thought there would be another head inside myself. Heck initially I'd thought it end up being like that Gundam from G (Devil?) - just one big floating head.
  • @All,
    yeah, I believed it's a mod. Picture from SRW Hotnews of the actual HG Seraphim Gundam below should prove it beyond doubt:

    @Ian,
    good one there with the Pudge the Butcher reference.

    @Q,
    with Seraphim Gundam now official, I wonder if there's still anyone that's yet to be revealed.

    @behemothzero,
    yea, almost I must admit. Only short of the head portion.

    @EXkurogane,
    not exactly the worse. It's kinda like Soundwave from Transformers, where the support unit come out from the chest, except in Seravee's case; it's in the form of a backpack.

    I don't think there's any way he could have gotten the head right. XD
  • behemothzero
    Wow, this guy got it (almost) right. Can't wait for the 1/100 model kit to come out.
  • ian
    Seravee's true form is like Pudge the Butcher from warcraft

    The problem with that site however, is that it isn't all official information. I still think that waiting it out is best.

    I heard the bighead Gundam behind and detach from Seravee and this mod is called Seraphim mode... But i think this can't be a hoax, it may be true. Since we haven't see Tiera pop out his suit's special abilities yet. Previously was Nadleeh in Virtue. You guys can chec out on Gundam.wikia.com. Search for Seravee and look for the link to the pics to the bighead in detached form.
  • griphon
    An SD version of Nadleeh is gonna pop out of Seravee and start whooping a$$

    @ EXkurogane

    Haha, that's true. Virtue was fat, but Seravee just put on a few pounds too many.

    GP-02 from Gundam 0083 was bulky as well, and in many ways remind me of Virtue & Seravee's designs, but at least GP-02 looked big & menacing; not to mention cool when it blew up a colony or something.
  • EXkurogane
    Alright, I'll have to admit this is one of the worst ideas i've ever seen before. Kinda like a co-joined twin on one torso, or did they get the idea from a horror movie? I suppose Tiera's Gundam that grew from fat (Virtue) to obese (Seravee) can't even move at a speed more than 40km/h until even the GN sheild is insufficient to block attacks from the rear.

    No matter how many limbs Seravee has, it is not spectacular at all. As far as i can see, the Seravee only sits around and show off its firepower.

    must be a mod.............
  • ShinmeiSuzaku
    Its likely a mod, but the speculation along the net, as far as I've seen always leads to this.
    Especially after the hand that came out of the cannon a few episodes back.
  • Q
    The back of Seravee is just as mysterious as the GN-004 back in first season, and funny enough both are related to Tieria Erde, the most mysterious Meister out of the 4 ^^;;

    Too many mysteries there. I just have to wait for them to reveal them.
  • deathscythe
    I seriously think it's a mod, primarily for aesthetic reasons & matters of good common sense. Look, Seravee having a ginormous face on its back is creepy enough as it is. Having a skinny-ass Mobile Suit with a huge-ass face tips it way over the weirdness scale, I tell ya.

    And the Chang & Eng reference in that picture? Ohmigosh. It's not even practical in battle! Tieria has Seravee blasting the crap out of cannon fodder & still got to babysit this manic beam-saber slashing goblin-like robot to worry about on its back? It doesn't make sense.

    But then again, having 2 GN Drives (so it's a matter of quantity now? I have 2 whereas you grunts have 1?) on a Gundam that induces quantization & makes pilots naked in space don't either...haha.

    I'm thinking this is a mod, The "arms" in the picture on the right aren't retracted, suggesting that they can't retract after the mod or it was forgotten.
    I at first thought this was the Robot Soul version because of the way the painting looks, But I'm not sure if they are compatible with action bases. The 1/144 Seravee however, is definitely compatible. The joint for the knee is too thin, It looks like it's cut from the model's vents. The vents for the robot soul version also looks different.

    Robot soul Seravee hasn't been released and could be subject to change, but
    I guess the only way to know for sure right now is to wait it out.

    I still think it's a mod though. =D
