The internet should been abuzz with news about Gundam Seravee’s backpack secret and this would have been officially old news by the time I hit the ‘Publish’ button.
Gundam Seraphim appears (*cue the Gurren Lagann music)
And we finally have our answer to the much speculated Gundam Seravee Secret ever since the giant Gundam face on Servaee’s back was first unveiled.
And onto Gundam Seravee’s Tamashi line merchandise, they have updated photos of Gundam Seraphim in silhouette form at the moment. It should be fully revealed eventually when Gundam Seraphim makes its official debut next week.
Some sharp fans has pointed out that the new 2nd OP being similarly to the Precure’s OP. Many people are divided over the new OP, some like it, some hate it. I have managed to hear the OP once so far, so I can’t really say if I like it or not at moment. It does feel that the previous OPs were much better. Some of the cuts in the new OP were pretty neat I must admit but as a whole, I must say that the animation and the song does not really complement each other well.
Lastly, we finally get to see Mr. Bushido (Graham Aker) much-awaited new MS in action. Looking great on 1st impression, although the initial closeup of it in the hangar make it look bulky. From the looks of it and my point-of-view, it looks like an Overflag with GN-X/Ahead parts add on it. But don’t take my word for it, I could be wrong and this is merely my personal opinion & speculation.
What do you guys think of the revelation of Gundam Seravee’s secret, the new 2nd OP and Mr.Bushido new MS?
Sephrim Gundam is pretty nice and all, but I’m still looking forward to the structure of it.
The OP seems a little too cheery and happy for me though, I think, for it to starting to rise in climax.
Mr. Bushido’s mobile suit is what I’m looking forward to mostly along (both show and MG kit possible.)
I personally think MG would come out for it, ’cause the design overall brings my interest, especially the head.
I love the new design. I hated the GN-X’s from the moment I first saw them, so I’m glad everyone who actually gets screen time is getting a replacement.
the masurao is freaking amazing. it’s so unique and quite frankyly i’ve never seen a robot like that. slender with some kind of bulk to go along with it.
seraphim is cool too. TTGL inspired..
I’m still not a Fan of the new OP, Normally each series has their own sound, but this last intro felt like a SEED song.
Bushido’s new MS does look damn sexy.
The new OP has the feel of a slick MTV. Whereas previously the sight of the Meisters walking together reminds me of Westlife, Backstreet Boys, etc, etc, at least this time they are adding butterflies, boobs & babes along with the pretty boys…it’s fanservice, I tell ya.
But Anew looks really hot in the OP.
WIth the first OP being so hot-blooded, it’s not easy for us to get used to the new song, which doesn’t feels like a Gundam OP…
And oh man I lol’ed at the comparison b/w G00 and Precure. It seems too much of a coincidence.

As you’ve mentioned, the OP certainly looks more like an MV from a boyband, rather than an OP for the show.

I had a good laugh too when I saw the comparison. And such comparison ain’t the first, many shows before have had their share of similarities. Such as Mobile Suit Gundam & Jinki:Extend and Seed / Seed Destiny (forgotten which exactly) & Cybe Formula Season ___ (again, I’m not too sure on the exact season for that show here)

It would be funny if Seravee still could purged its armor. I would scream in utter disbelief if it did.
not only they base the design on gaogaigar and ttgl, they also added the megaman/rockman twist with it’s arm cannons. too bad they took out the rasta look, man this would be an awesome black, no the real “BLACK GUNDAM.” if it has the dreads.
kudos to sunrise for going all black this time around, all white was so last season.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Masurao in action. The design is to my liking, though those binders look a bit odd. The overall design is awesome though.

Hmm….that sounds plausible….Billy with his own brand of Trans-Am.
On the other hand seeing that onscreen would be fascinating because so far season 2 seems to conveniently neglect the glaring fact that GN-Tau Drives (i.e. the red-particle ones) operate under a limited timespan each time they are put to use. In other words, compared to the actual GN Drives, GN-Tau Drives need recharging, which puts the latter at a disadvantage.
So….considering how the Masurao runs on GN-Tau Drives, I’m wondering how it is supposed to sustain its supposed Trans-Am mode; assuming it’s going to have one. And then there’s also how Mr. Bushido wants the power in his new MS to be diverted to his 2 beam phalluses, haha….
I personally don’t think it’s TRANS-AM. Like what deathscythe said GN-Taus can only function at limited time span & needs recharging after use. If TRANS-AM is to be used with GN-Tau I don’t think the Masurao could last any longer than 3 minutes, taking note of how long have the drives been running.
Besides, note that the late Prof. Eifman died BEFORE the CB Gundams even activated TRANS-AM. So there’s absolutely little chance for him to develop such a concept unless he was told of it by someone else.
In any case, I’m speculating that this power has got something to do with enhancing speed or power for Masurao. It could even be the “strongest sword” Mr. Bushido asked for.
I predict that Billy found out his own twin-drive system.

Maybe it is a system that allows either the taus to recreate gn particles(which allows it to run longer) or increases the amount of particles of being releases, allowing it to match the power of trans-am for a period of time. In one of the ep, i saw billy’s computer saying something about the flow of particles……………
Well Mr. Bushido’s new suit has Trans-am, well its called burst mode when he shouts it but looks the same as a trans-am activation.
Question is, Is it really a trans-am copy with all the advantages. but then how will the suit react when the particle output gets too low.
Or is it a totally different tech that billy created off the prof. data and working out what trans-am is actually doing, meaning it wont make the suit dead in the water when it loses particle generation because it it working the same.
i like the new op and I think that Billy might have created a similar “solar furnace” that can exceed the tau’s ability to having recharge and that made the operation time on it longer…
As far as the new OP is concerned, everything (the video is good, music is good, the anime is good) is great EXCEPT it just doesn’t work out when put together. It’d be perfectly fine if it were for a romance anime or something.
My take on Seravee is that the transformation takes too long, not exactly practical even though it does have more firepower than Nadleeh.
My opinion on Graham’s Flag-dam is that it’s of poor design.
Great. Nice OP but the song and video doesn’t fit or sync well. The Seraphim is quite slow actually, it’s juz that Bring is too shocked and couldn’t do anything. From far, Graham’s suit looks like a knight Digimon to me (lol…). At least it looks better than the Ahead.

Juz got pissed off it’s already ep 15 and GN Archer is not in action yet. I don’t knoe whether you guys realise it or not, but Masurao’s GN Drive tau seems to be placed at the ass, oddly, or hips…
And i’m surprised the ED 2 is sung by Yuna Ito, though i noticed the voice was familiar the first time i heard it. I already have OP 2 in my phone, haha, bit can’t find the full version of ED 2 yet…

It’s going to be released in March. Sad, actually, as I’d hoped it would be released in the middle of February at the latest. Pretty awesome song, and the ending video’s pretty good, too. My favorite part is when Tieria turns to the A-Laws (back to the mirror).

I agree too, I would be really shocking if Seravee really does do a armor purge to reveal a Nadleeh and then we have a Nadleeh & Seraphim combination attack. But I believe the chances are really remote.

I admit they really pulled it off real well there with Seraphim, especially when many were expecting otherwise. The Masurao design looks decent enough, but I’ll wait until its gunpla form arrive before passing the final verdict on it.

you’re right on that one. It has been revealed it’s the ‘trans-am’. It would not be long before the rest gets it, which I hoped that it will not happen. The grunt/rebellion units are already sitting ducks in the current situation, trans-am for all will not bode well for them.
hopefully, we can get an explanation on how this version of their ‘trans-am’ works. Eifman most probably manage to conceive the idea in theory but not manage to prove it in practical form. But hopefully, future episodes will shed more details on it.
