Official logo for Gunota.info

For frequent visitors here, I’m sure you’ll notice the new green logo at the top of the page. After almost a year have gone past, I’ve finally managed to come up with an official logo for this blog.
The inspiration for the logo came from Winterheim‘s Miku Hatsune Inside™ article, “giving birth” to the logo that you guys are seeing right now.
Below is the conceptualization process for of the logo:
The inspiration - “Hatsune Miku inside”
The initial attempt
Initially done out of fun, I started tweaking around with the “hatsune miku inside” design concept. When I eventually succeeded in skewing the haro image i got into the right perspective, color & dimension, I plugged it into the site’s masthead. The result wasn’t too very satisfactory as I imagined it to be. The problem; if this was used as a standalone graphic, it would have been great. However, when used inside a long horizontal masthead, the result was terrible; there’s no “connection” with the menu & stuck out like a sore thumb instead.
The edited copy
With what I’ve learned fter the initial attempt, I make some compromises & tweaks, & redesigned the logo into ‘landscape’ mode; wider on the sides to blend better & easier into the masthead. The results was better but still not good enough.
The eventual design
Realizing the borders and shadows around the logo are ‘separating’ the logo from site’s theme & menu, I discareded since this current blog theme is working on a border-less design & concept. With that done, I’ve finally arrived at the finalized design that you guys are seeing right now. Simple & clean 
Conclusion
The eventual design was very much I’ve wanted all along but unable to materialise till now. As for the other 2 initial designs, I’m planning to use them as “link banners” (1st one for protrait & the other for landscape depending on the situation) if there’s anyone asking for link exchange.
So I guessed you guys had enough of my ramblings, how about some feedback from you guys on what you think & feel about the logo design?

as for feedback i felt that the curves of the mouth, left and right opening for the hands ca be smoother.
how about more colour schemes as well? orange for lockon’s and pink for lacus’.

looks cool. would you mind if I copy and change it a bit to use on a kit? was thinking of building a Dynames with a “haro inside” logo. ^^

as for the curves, yeah I too noticed that they’re jagged & not smooth since I painted them instead of drawing with pen tool. Gonna redraw them on vector format when I’m free, to keep the curves smooth.
Good idea to add more color scheme, and when I finish other color scheme, I can do banner rotate! provided that I find a way to do so for my current wordpress theme first ^^’

Jacques sir,i pray for your own safety.;) lol.. i really,really love the colour with the logo that looks so very,nature.you know what,green is my 3rd favourite colour after blue(1st)&white(2nd).oh,the 4th is lavender/purple.FYI only..X) so,juz be happy with what you craved for as long it is good. =)
