Some of the photos of theĀ  Gundam 00 Open Category Winners can be clicked on, where you can view the complete gallery or Work-in-Progress of their works. Which of the winning entries do you like best among all of them? My personal favourite would be the Cherudim Avalanche Custom by Toymaker if I had to pick one. And was there any model kit competition held in your area recently too? If so, do show us so that we can share with everyone.

  1. I am impressed by the base supporting the 00 Raiser -Regnant’s arm. Have no idea what that guy used to make the arm/wrist of Regnant.

There’s a Gunpla modelling challenge at my place too in Penang at Penang Gurney Plaza that has just ended (if i am not mistaken). I did took some photos (i went there on 31st May) but there are some functions going on that i didn’t get to see (free gumpla distribution and seiyuus coming -that’s all i know) as i was rushing back home due to being busy, and ironically, i didn’t know about the event going on till i heard an announcement before i am about to head home. I called it midyear BAKUC challenge but i am not sure whether the event is BAKUC.

There are some pics at my blog:

  2. I checked his blog for WIP details and it seemed that he scratch-built that arm with pla-plate and epoxy which is the only mention I found. Not much else was mentioned unfortunately. Can only hoped that a more in-depth explanation would come up in the near future.

Btw, he’s aka GMRevo, the guy who did the Exia.

I saw the pictures for that event and was planning to put it up right after this post at a latter time. I believe the event was called Gundam Model Kit Challenge 2009. Thanks for sharing them with us. Do you happen to know the results for the competition too?

Also, congrats on the setup of your very own blog. :D Already added it to my Google Reader.
