A new peripheral add-on for the Nintendo DS has been has been released by Nintendo Japan. The peripheral plugs directly into the GBA cartridge slot of the DS/ DS Lite and allows you to set the handheld on a flat platform. The platform is a motion sensor, acting as an alternative method to input movement into the DS. You slide around the DS around on a flat surface and the whole handheld suddenly becomes a mouse with a screen.

Bundled up with Slide Adventure: Mag Kid, a new game for the DS, where you play the role of a robot that rebuilds itself from parts of destroyed enemies. The whole thing will be priced at 5,800¥ (USD49) in Japan but there’s no word yet if it will ever be released outside of Japan.
