Some Info regarding ARX-8 Laevatein for those curious about it’s origin, since it has only made it’s appearance in manga/novel but no yet in anime. Damn.. can’t wait to see it in action in anime form. Though I still prefer Arbalest design^^’
ARX-8 Laevatein was designed by AI after ARX-7’s destruction at the hands of Leonard Testarossa’s Belial. Later, Mithril’s special agent “Wraith” managed to salvage its AI unit and Lambda Driver system. And together with the aid of the remnants of the Mithril, ARX-8 Laevatein was born, a whole-new AS that would completely suit Sousuke’s habit in battle.
Since it doesn’t belong to Mithril’s regular design, it did not follow the tradition of naming after medieval weapons (ARX-6 Halberd and ARX-7 Arbalest). Instead, it was named after a legendary sword in Norse mythology, the Laevateinn.
Laevatein seen completed at the end of the novel ‘Burning One Man Force’, and delivered to Sousuke during the eighth novel, where in the first combat against the Amalgam forces in the events of ‘Get Together and Make My Day’, Laevatein had single-handedly destroyed three Behemoth units and three Codarl units within 5 minutes and 52 seconds.

I’ve remembered seeing a Arbalest and probably Venom model too, though i’m not very sure was it from revoltech also or from other companies. Probably will have to do some digging to find out when i get home later from work.

Oh mf freaking GOd, Laevatein as a revoltech figure. I thank you kami-sama ^^. Wonder why they didn’t release Arbalset or Venom?
