13 days later after entering the new year, I’ve finally changed a new theme to the site. Though I initially mentioned about designing one for myself, I’ve failed in the attempt though now completely. The attempt has enlighten in the usage of CSS which has aided and benefitted me in my work-life.Coming back to the theme explanation, this new theme is modified into the current look & feel you’re seeing right now by converting an existing theme called “The Turkish Carpet” from TurkHitBox.com. It’s modded to look like the TurkHitBox current theme, which I liked very much. But I’m not gonna keep it the same totally, some minor additions here & there will be made though, but anytime soon. I probably update them whenever I get time off from work to do them or probably over the weekends. This theme is now looking more web 2.0-like. And the best part that I like is, it presents information in a very clean and neat fashion. As of now, this theme is still in beta phase, which explains the downtime and problems that visitors encountered while trying to visit the site this couple of days. Do leave a message or drop me an email if you encounter any bugs(e.g out of place images/text) during your visit here.
For now, it seems that the problems has been rectified for now. Hopefully, I’ll be able to convert the theme into W3C html & css valid theme in the shortest time possible. That’s all for the moment, I’ll be off for more troubleshooting in the meantime. *edit:An add-on update to the post instead of posting a new one which seems rather pointless. Finally fixed the the limit on the number of posts to show on the “Top Posts” box. And fixed the CSS errors also, it should be HTML & CSS W3C compliant already. What’s remaining, is the further addtition of 3 more horizontal boxes at the bottom plus a blog icon image at the blog title header. An RSS feed button may also be included though it seems there aren’t many people using it.
