GN Arms

Images of colored GN Arms with Gundam Exia plastic model kit from Gundam 00. A couple of days ago, a similar post on GN Arms was posted, except that the images in that post contains an un-colored GN Arms. The images that we see now, will be the official color scheme of what we’ll be seeing in the coming episodes of Gundam 00. Read on to see the rest of it.

With the GN Arms, Exia will be able to fly in the sky like Kyrios since GN Arms is a transformable weapon docking system.
Relase Date: March 2008
Price: 5,775 yen

As you can see from the images above (GP-03D) and below(MEOTEOR Unit), this weapon docking system introduced in Gundam 00 is nothing new. Seasoned Gundam fans who have watched before UC(Universal Century) era Gundam series; Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory and the more recent series before 00; Gundam Seed, will be familiar with these weapon system & concept. Although the GN Arms does seemed much smaller in size compared to its other 2 predecessors.

hi jody,
the GN Arms comes together with the HG Exia and is scheduled for March release. You can see an earlier topic which I’ve have posted here about GN Arms

The problem is that docking in with large armbases is just getting repetitive in Gundam animes, since the venerable GP03D Orchis till the SEED Meteors. Armbases are not limited to only Gundams, SRWOG’s R3 Powered and Hyperion are also fine examples with the exception for the R3’s role as the SRX legs. Then again, this GN arms isn’t giving Gundam something to WOW and different for a change as repeating the same old gig doesn’t help make an anime stand out from the rest. LAME

codename:v,
I’ll totally agree with your view. What’s more ironic is that though the GN Arms can be deployed as an extension weapon to the Gundams, the Potelmaios can’t utilise it as a weapon like what Eternal did with the Meteor units.
