00 Gundam Seven Swords – Part 2

00 Gundam 7 Swords Following the 1st part of 00 Gundam 7 Swords where the GN-0000/7s was first introduced, we are now being offered a glimpse by JUNIII, a modeler who made a conversion of HG (High Grade) 1/144 00 Gundam into a 00 Gundam/7S which you’re seeing right now. 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords 00 Gundam 7 Swords Below is an excerpt & explanation from The Bonkurasu Brigade on each of the 7 Swords and their functions : GN Sword II Short Mounted on the left of the waist. Developed as a projectile weapon to replace the GN Beam Dagger which Setsuna often used when piloting Exia. The tip part of the sword is attached to a wire and can be shot out and retracted as many times perused. 00 Gundam 7 Swords GN Beam Saber Mounted at the back of the waist. The exact equipment that is used officially by its predecessor Gundams. GN Sword II Long Mounted on the right of the waist. Compared to the current adopted GN Sword II, it has an enhanced rifle mode. But it has a decreased rapid fire capability and increased particle consumption. Its equipped in the premise of the complete operational Twin Drive System, and also it is the only weapon designed for long range battle in the Seven Swords. GN Katar Medium sized swords mounted on the add-on parts at both knees. A type of heat sword that has not be adopted by any Gundam so far. The cutting edges are made of a material developed from those that are used in GN condensers, as the GN particles change to heat, the heat is transferred to whatever is in contact at the moment. With this feature in theory, it is possible to attack at high temperatures that cannot be endured by the material of the GN Katar. Still in the prototype stage. Please proceed to The Bonkurasu Brigade’s 00V: Gundam 00 ‘7 Swords’ MSV part 2 for the complete and more in-depth read.

Having previously seen the Avalanche Exia Gundam & Astraea Gundam from the Gundam 00 side-stories being released in gunpla form, I’m going to abort the idea of getting the 00 Gundam and wait for this 00 Gundam 7 Swords instead, which Bandai would hopefully release in the near future.

What about you guys? Are you going to put a hold on your purchase of 00 Gundam and wait for the 7 Swords like me? or are you going to stick your purchase and get the 7 Swords later?

  2. I’ll stick to the plain 1/100 model. Even if this version does get released, and much as I like the seven-swords idea generally, how it worked out in this case is just too much for my taste.

  6. Yeah, I would definitly wait for this one. I wonder if this one will make an appearance in the show…

  7. 00 is a lot simpler in design than exia so it seemed like a step backwards, but the 0 riser ad-on just doesn’t mesh well color wise. I’ll definately wait to buy this though, it’s very cool.

  10. @Martin Wandering,
    I didn’t like the idea of ‘Seven Swords’ initially, but was won over eventually when I saw this modded kit version.

    @Lightmirage,
    yup, it’s always good to check on Dalong for his reviews when one is uncertain or need a second opinion regarding the kit one is interested in buying.

    @charge, @Eion, @Red
    I’ll sit and wait hopefully for this ‘Seven Swords’ release, The 0-Riser doesn’t appeal to me as much as the Seven Swords. Would be great if it made it to the anime, would be awesome to see this guy in action.

    @mastertmg,
    The 0-Riser seemed kinda forced onto the 00 Gundam the way I’m seeing it currently.

    @gordon,
    actually, it does have a shield, the GN Buster Sword in its Shield Mode, generate a large multi-directional GN Field.

  12. it looks kinda fake because of all that wave that makes it look cartoonish.

  13. I wonder if its going out in 1/60 scale since I only buy the 1/60 scale

  14. @gny-001,
    waves? what do you mean? Do you meant the watermark with Chinese words?
    The 7Swords is definitely authentic, it was featured in this month’s Hobby Japan magazine.

    @gundam-4-eva,
    remains to be see for that, until I see actually image of both combining together 1st, I’ll have to say no. Preferred the 7 Swords 00 Gundam to O-Riser 00 Gundam.

    @Jemry,
    Most likely, they will since they already done so with Gundam Exia. I see we’re somewhat similar, in my case, I buy 1/100 kits since 1/144 is considered somewhat too small for my liking, the details wouldn’t be as good and size-wise it’s too underwhelming.

  15. Does anyone have this idea that the swords can be removed and attach the 0-raiser to the 00??

  16. Can the 0 raiser be attached to the 00 gundam when the swords are removed?? pls reply…thank you…^^

  17. @Guest,

    Do know that this kit – 00 Gundam 7 Swords, is a personal modification/ customization job by a gunpla hobbyist using Bandai’s HG (High Grade) 1/144 00 Gundam kit. Bandai has so far yet-to-announced any plans to release a 00 Gundam 7 Swords model kit.

    Other than the above mentioned, if I’m not mistaken, the current 1/144 HG 00 Gundam should be able to combine with the HG 0 Raizer that is releasing soon.And if Bandai does release a 1/44 00 Gundam 7 Swords, it should be able to combine with the 0 Raizer since it’ll probably be using the 1/144 00 Gundam as the base design.

    Guys, do correct me if I gotten any of the above wrong.

  18. hey guys i’ve already got the 1/144 gundam 00 but i noticed on the pictures ahead that theres no docking hole for 0 raiser and my one surprisingly does

    and 2ndly it would be best for buyers by me recommendly get the 0 raiser and celestial being stand SEPERATE from the combo set which seems cheaper with normal 00 gundam BUT u can make the the stand and 0 raiser for 7 SWORD 00 and equip it togther you see. I dunno if bandai would make the 7 sword with a 0 raiser hole tho which can be trublesome

    no, we don’t. The 7Swords makes its appearance in the 00 manga side-story.
