If you’re fretting over on how to pimp your recently acquired 00 Gundam kit, this one might give you some good idea and inspiration.This wonderful-looking 1/144 High 00 Gundam is done by Chikka. The clean finish look with an added touch of custom-made decals , makes it look katoki-like. Definitely the way that I want my 00 Gundam to look when I get one. 
The blue scheme adopted by Chikka is just right & better as compared to the ones on 1/100 & HCM-Pro 00 Gundam where the former was too strong and latter being too light (above pic). 
gotta love the “glow-in-the-dark” effect 
The fact that the soon-to-be released 1/100 00 Gundam 0 having no waist joint, may force me to settle for the 1/144 HG 00 Gundam instead. Do you like this 1/144 HG 00 Gundam done by Chikka? How would you do with your own 00 Gundam when you get one?

Man, i really like a 1/144 00 gundam too! In the philippines, i cost around 600 pesos.
Is the model kits look good and realistic without paint?

Unfortunately, Chikka only mentioned that he did the decal design on his mac with Adobe Illustrator and did not mention about the production of the decals. I’ve heard people mentioning about samuel decal where they provide tailor made service; You send images, finished graphic designs or any other formats to them to produce your very own unique decal. below is the url:

exactly! thought they would carry out the technology they used on HG 1/144 to this 1/100 but instead they did the opposite. Then again, this is a 1/100 not a HG 1/100 :s

you’re right. there isn’t one. After a check, i found out he apparently went and scratch-built one himself. for the 1/144 HG 00 Gundam.

I never really cared much about the waist joints anyway. My MG Zaku keeps leaning forward due to the waist joint. It may be a good thing for me.
Where would one get glow in the dark paint though?

looks very good. the paint job and glow in the dark effect are nice but i find that too many decals are used. a few is enough to keep it looking simple.

I really like it, if i will get one (sooner or later I’m gonna buy it) i will propably do something similar (but without “glow in the dark”, and custom decals- i’m gonna buy them from samueldecals) or i will paint my in black color scheme which could’ve been seen at some expo’s (or somewhere, can’t remember) cause it was awesome

that 00 really looks nice!! how did he make those custom decals? as for me, i think i’ll be getting the 1/100 00. it would be nice if i know how to make custom decals for the kit.
