Gundam Unicorn Manga Scanlations

I believe many of us have already seen the first 7 minutes of Gundam UC Episode 1. For those who are eager to find out and understand more about a bit of the first 7 minute is all about, you can now read the scanlated 1st chapter of the manga which incidentally covers a portion of them via Gundam Unicorn – BANDE DESSINEE- [Act.01]. I’ve just finished reading it; the 1st chapter covers until the portion where Kshatriya just sortied. I must admit it’s kind of short but at least it’s enough to let me know a bit of what’s going on before I get the chance to see the entire 1st episode.
What do you guys think of it after reading? Any thoughts? Has anyone had the chance to get ahead of the rest of us by finishing the novel first?

Somehow I wish Rezel can put up a decent fight, Jegan died too easily @___@

Glad it helped. The only complaint that I had for it was that it was kind of short, with only 1 chapter so far. It would be great if it was at least a volume long.

I agree with you that the Jegans died far too easily but it can be helped since they are grunt units. But the last Jegan did pretty well given its ability. ReZel fared slightly better but still struggled against the Kshatriya.
What surprised me most was how Unicorn Gundam in normal mode was able to overpower the Kshatriya by crushing its hands so easily, until Kshatriya's funnels were deployed and Unicorn Gundam had to changed to 'Destroy' mode to cope with them. Can't wait for episode 2 to come!

I won’t say Jegan died easily though, since Stark Jegan did put a good show rather than ReZel. & the 1 on 1 between pilot+bazooka against Kshatriya & manage to escape unhurt is 1 bizarre thing happen.

They did well until the funnels were launched. And I feel that the battle between ReZels and Kshatriya was lacklustre as compared to initial battle where the Jegans fought Kshatriya.
the 1 on 1 between pilot+bazooka against Kshatriya was real funny, he must the luck of Patrick to be able to escape unhurt
